OUR JOURNEY
Our journey began in February 2008, when Reverend Atta Badu snr (Senior Pastor) his brother and a few friends rented a hall at West Hall Lane Stratford for Saturday prayer meetings. These humble beginnings reflect the persistence, faith, prayer and patience of a church that is destined for great things.
CALLING INTO MINISTRY
A man devoted to fervent prayer and known for his unwavering emphasis on holy living as the foundation of a fruitful and enduring relationship with God, Rev Atta is being used by God to bring the message of the gospel to nations around the world. In spite of the miraculous move of God in his ministry, however, Rev Atta humble disposition is widely acknowledged, thus making him a role model for many in the community and the world over.
THE DIRECTION
Under the direction and leadership of Ravened Atta, ZCC maintained the Word of God, an open, honest and welcoming approach to all visitors. This had a positive effect on community, family and society which we begun to see dynamic transformation not only in the size of our congregation but also in the development of services and the gospel that we feed our members and visitors with. As a result of the growth we decided to add Thursday’s evening prayer meetings.
YEAR OF INCREASE
2015 was the year of increase, as we refer it because, the seeds of prayer fervently sown in previous years were beginning to bear fruit to the point that we started Sunday Church Service. We also begum evangelism by going out in a way of sharing and spreading the gospel to nations around the world. We owe our continuous success first and foremost to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We have witnessed our many miracles and through commitment to Christian teachings we support others so that they can experience their own personal miracles.
STATEMENT OF FACT
THE HOLY TRINITY
The three persons of the Godhead; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit Three in One.
THE VIRGIN BIRTH
Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
THE DEATH AND RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST
Jesus was crucified and died for the sins of mankind on the cross at Calvary, was buried and rose from the dead on the third day. He ascended into Heaven and is forever seated at the right hand of God the Father.
THE HOLY BIBLE
The reliable and authoritative word of God given to direct and guide all men and women to salvation.
THE HOLY SPIRIT
The Comforter and Teacher of all things who dwell within us, uniting us to Jesus Christ.
THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
This is freely available to all who believe in Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit and is manifested by the gift of speaking in unknown tongues.
SALVATION
A gift from God through grace and faith in Jesus Christ; that all who believe in Him may be saved by turning from sin to repentance, trusting in His death and resurrection and are born again by the Holy Spirit.
THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST
It was shed for us on the cross at Calvary cleanses us from all sin and grants us access into the presence of God.
THE SECOND COMING OF JESUS CHRIST
Jesus will come again to Earth in glory and the dead in Christ will rise and those who are alive in Christ will be translated into the presence of God for eternity.
